16-Year-Old Charged With Making Terrorist Threats Against Alabama Schools

By Leada Gore

A 16-year-old faces charges connected to threats against Douglas High and Douglas Middle schools in Marshall County.

Marshall County Sheriff Phil Sims said the male student was arrested at DHS today. He is charged with making terrorist threats involving the schools, a class C felony, and is being held by juvenile authorities.

"We were able to quickly assess the information and make an arrest today based on the hard work of our deputies and investigators. We will hold students accountable for their actions that disrupt school and related school activities," Sims said.
