3 part series describes how industries can prepare to properly handle an incident in order to avert a crisis. It describes how to set up and implement an Incident Command System that will work effectively with public safety organizations.

Narrated by Greg Noll, a Certified Safety Professional and a member of many national safety committees, including the NFPA Technical Committee on Hazardous Materials Response Personnel (chair). In 2006 Greg was a recipient of the IAFC Hazardous Materials Committee's Level A Award for his lifetime contributions to the hazardous materials training and education community.

The series consists of 3 DVDs plus an accompanying Model Procedures Guide on CD-Rom. After taking the training provided by the course of instruction suggested, the student should be able to identify the benefits of using ICS, describe the key concepts and principles underlying the National Incident Management System, and describe the basic features of ICS. The student will be able to describe the roles and functions of the Incident Commander, the Command Staff and the four principle sections under ICS. The student will also be able to describe the elements of a crisis management plan and understand the role of the Emergency Operations Center.
